I am not familiar with IIS SMTP configuration, but maybe I am right about that Scott's problem is how to configure IIS SMTP Server service as an SMTP Gateway?? Because he doesn't seem to find the option for outbound SMTP port. Maybe the service is not even configured as a gateway but a plain vanilla SMTP server?

just trying to help.:)
