I figured it out.

The IP address I was using to access the system for SSL did not have a default host to bind to in the WEB. When I added a fake host and bound that IP address to it, life became happy again and the SSL worked just fine.

However, this seems like it could be considered a glitch. If no host is assigned that IP address, then it would make since to just WORK on whatever default it can find in the system. IMAP seems to work just fine with that IP address.

For instance, my default hosts are bound to x.x.x.10 and I was using SSL on x.x.x.111 with no default host bound to .111 (only virtual hosts) IMAP worked, but web didn't. Strange.
