You need to make sure you restart the SMTP service when you change host aliases. This is a new requirement in 8.20.

All new entries (via 8.20) do not recognize the host alias. Environment: Windows 2000 Server with all patches applied, Imail 8.20 HF2. The server is used for Imail only. When we enter xyz.com as the official host name and skip the host alias, mail for [EMAIL PROTECTED] is delivered without problem. Don't ask why we use the abovementioned official host name/ host alias construction, but it worked for almost 10 years. Is anyone using host aliases and if you do, do you recognize the problem for newly entered virtual hosts and what is the format you are using for the official host name and for the host alias?
