Strange, but in Gmail's defense, I have never received a spam to my account 
and it simply my first and last names seperated by a period.  I use this 
account for email lists and have suscribed to Imail's and various 
Sourceforge and Yahoo lists.  Currently using ~350MB with thousands of 
emails received.
