Same here…We have thousands of
domains and a single PTR record that points to the OHN of the Imail server. No real
problems with any other mail servers that I am aware of. From:

IMail Hey Chris, We currently have around 200 domains using
the same IP and have never had an issue with AOL or anything else. We
just have the PTR setup as the OHN Imail uses for that IP. I would say
you will not run into any issues as long as no other small ISP’s in your
area require the PTR to match. But if they do they will have
problems receiving mail from many other places as well. Thanks, Grant Griffith EI8HTLEGS, A Division of ETC (812)932-1000 From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]

Behalf Of Chris Anton Howdy All, We are currently configured with IP Based
hosting for our 250 websites and are considering a move to Name based
hosting to save money ($2 per ip per month = $6000 per year).
We currently have unique PTR records set up for each IP corresponding to
the domain name of that IP. |
