Greetings.
I can't get the imap server to write subscriptions to the .mailboxfilter file. I've tried for hours now and I'm stumped :-(

I used the debian-unstable package initially but I couldn't get subscription to work, so I downloaded the current 2006b version which I compiled without modifying any code.

If I used '/' or '#user' as the imap server root directory (for Evolution that is - nothing was required in Thunderbird) then I saw my Inbox and could copy things into it. I could create directories using the imap client but I couldn't subscribe to folders. Evolution said that the server didn't support subscriptions and Thunderbird found folders to subscribe to but uw-imap wouldn't write to the mailboxfilter file so on client restart the directories I created would dissapear.

I've straced uw-imapd and it does find the mailboxfilter file in my home directory. I tried but failed to increase logging verbosity (can this be done?) in the hope of seeing some clue as to what I'm missing, and I also can't find other similar problems on the Web. Please help!

Cheers
Mark.
