That's why I hacked together a purge program.

Its input is a mailbox path name and the number of days mail to keep,
(e.g., 10 days for Trash).  With a shell script to find mailbox names
and call the program for each one, it helps keep those pesky users in
line. ;-)

The code is not very long, I can post it if anyone wants it.
