Hi,
I wish to setup uw-imapd on a Redhat EL4 box, which is a NIS client.
I compiled imap2006 for port lnp and with SSLTYPE=none since I can
safely afford plain text passwords.
I setup a folder on a pine client with "Server : <fqdn of
server>/user=<user>" and "Path : mail/"
When I try to open the folder Pine asks me for password and then tells
me "Invalid login credentials".
The syslog on the imapd server also says "Login failed"
This is a NIS client. How do I make it us-imapd work?
