I'm having a similar issue.
I try to connect to:
{imap.aol.com:993/ssl/imap/novalidate-cert}inbox
This works e.g. on Windows Server 2003, but under Vista DecryptMessage
returns SEC_E_DECRYPT_FAILURE. I use for that both my program and mtest.exe
with the same result.
PC Pine is working all right under Windows Server 2003 with the above
configuration, but under Vista it does not even ask for credentials when
trying to access INBOX, so I assume it breaks in the same place as my
mtest.exe
