I don't want to mislead anyone.

There is no funding for that level of effort in Panda IMAP, nor is there
likely to be in the foreseeable future.  As far as I know, UW IMAP is
moribund; there have been a couple of bugfixes since my departure
(Panda has these and more) but development has ended.

I've long been surprised that UW hasn't substantially forked to date. I also recall your comments over the years at the difficulty of maintaining compatibility with all the mailbox formats. One ponders if omitting supported formats would make it easier for other coders to fork and carry it forward.

I am writing a new IMAP server for Messaging Architects (no big
surprise...).  The lion's share of my current (and future) work is
going there.

Will that be open sources as well?  ;-)
