I did think of that but, my coworkers warned me that the users would
not like it.  I was thinking of dislabling it randomly until all the
users switched.  :-)

I looked through the logs.  Right now we are using stunnel on 993, and
allow plain text on 143.  So my imapd logs tell me that some users
are using ssl, and some are using 143.  But I don't know if they
are using cram-md5 or plaintext passwds.

(stunnel connections are through 127.0.0.1)  So those people are obvious.
