Actually, "flag"s can be used as an argument of the APPEND command, too - so probably the APPEND command should be mentioned there, too. The current syntax ruls properly prohibit the \RECENT flag in both STORE and APPEND commands. COPY command. This topic was discussed some time ago: Some implementations copy the \Recent flag together with the copied message, some always reset this flag, some always set this flag.
