draft-ietf-imapext-sort-11.txt has been submitted, and is also available
on:
ftp://ftp.cac.washington.edu/mail/draft-ietf-imapext-sort-11.txt
This document merges the SORT and THREAD drafts, and makes some tenative
steps towards addressing some long-standing nits; e.g. there is now a
valid security and IANA considerations section, and the two extensions now
have common rules.
There is also a mention of stringprep here, and we probably need to do
something about a stringprep profile. Although my server currently
converts all UTF-8 into pre-composed characters, we probably should use a
decomposed form for collation.
Would someone (Chris?) volunteer to write the necessary stringprep
profile? Or does Chris think that this should be in the IMAP i18n
document instead -- if so, I need a reference to use.
