Have you even looked at what BODYSTRUCTURE actually returns?
Not, I must confess, since I wrote code to use it.
It doesn't return From field. It doesn't return To field. It doesn't return Date field.
My bad. For some reason I confused the top-level message with message/rfc822 body parts.
If you wanted to do it without ENVELOPE, you'd likely do:
1 FETCH 1:30 BODY.PEEK[HEADER.FIELDS (From Subject Date)]
Looking at my IMAP log shows I used
(bodystructure body.peek[header.fields (message-id received)])
and very shortly later
body.peek[header.fields (from to cc subject)]
to read your message prior to this reply. I didn't see any reason to fetch the date, since the message was known to be brand new.
