That's true; however some companies have been crossing over the line by
their use of "spam" in product names, and Hormel *has* been objecting to
that.

Since I don't think we should get into the business of registering $spam
and explicitly un-registering and forbidding $SPAM, it would be better to
avoid the name entirely.
