Did you read the release notes, most importantly for the imap-2002 base release (28 October 2002)? Did you read the BUILD documentation file, most importantly the first two paragraphs under "UNIX BUILD NOTES"? Did you read the SSLBUILD documentation file, most imporantly the first two paragraphs under "SSL BUILD"?
