Dear Arnt,
The client, which was developed with IMAP4(rfc1730), wants to connect to the UW IMAP server (supports IMAPver4rev1). In this case server has to support a command like PARTIAL(even it is obsleted). In my observation I found that UW IMAP server is not supporting this command.
I want to know about IMAPver4rev1 compatibility with IMAP4.

3501, 2595, 2683 and the specifications for whatever IMAP extensions you
use/support.
