I think you have made a good document about base XX "standards". I thought base64 was 
one thing but there is at least 3 variants I know
about today.

I think IMAP will probably not withdraw their base64 version and we will have to live 
with it. Therefore it is worth considering to include the full table to keep the good 
overview already existing in your document (RFC3548)
