Hi. I am working on a SUSE 9 box, and am trying to make imap, but get the following error:
linux:/home/benedict/imap/imap-2002e # make lsu make sslnopwd make[1]: Entering directory `/home/benedict/imap/imap-2002e' ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++ + Building in full compliance with IESG security requirements: ++ TLS/SSL encryption is supported ++ Unencrypted plaintext passwords are prohibited ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ +++ make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/benedict/imap/imap-2002e' Applying an process to sources... tools/an "ln -s" src/c-client c-client /bin/sh: line 1: tools/an: Permission denied make: *** [an] Error 126 I am logged in as root. I have checked that a version of open ssl is installed. I used the quick method recomened in the README, hence only typing make lsu. Any thoughts?
