I never used RAV so I can't comment on that ... but i did run IIS SMTP = on port 9999 on my IMail server for a few months and had my in house apps = point to it as the mail forwarder, after I had the IIS SMTP kill my imail we = moved it to another server, and don't allow it to forward to IMail any more. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
PS have you tried? http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/source/tcpview.shtml To look at where the connections are coming from? Christopher Checca Packard Transport, Inc. I suspect that RAV is hammering Imail which we know screws up Imail=20 badly. RAV is being used until the client gets the imail user export=20 working, probably today. the client turned off MS SMTP overnight, and Imail still connect/disco = to=20 postfix 90K times since midnight.
