I'm re-doing a client's DNS and re-numbering for a new T-1 where he will be authoritative for his 2 forward zones and his reverse sub-net zone instead.
He registered a .com host with NetSol yesterday. Within a couple of hours, it pops up in the whois database. But still this morning, the *.tld-servers.net, the .com parents, don't have the host's A record. I thought the .com parents were updated at least every 12 hours, and it's been longer than that. The project is blocked without this host record published. Anybody have any recent experience with how long it takes for a new host record to show up in the .com NSs? Len
