I renumbered here in January, and host records were visible the next
day, less than 24 hours.

Subject: [IMGate] how long for host records to arrive in TLD-servers?

I'm re-doing a client's DNS and re-numbering for a new T-1 where he=20
will be authoritative for his 2 forward zones and his reverse sub-net=20
zone instead.

He registered a .com host with NetSol yesterday. Within a couple of=20
hours, it pops up in the whois database.

But still this morning, the *.tld-servers.net, the .com parents,=20
don't have the host's A record. I thought the .com parents were=20
updated at least every 12 hours, and it's been longer than that. The=20
project is blocked without this host record published.

Anybody have any recent experience with how long it takes for a new=20
host record to show up in the .com NSs?

Len
