I can't speak to your description but the issue that was discussed between UUNET and ignorant is described here: http://www.rfc-ignorant.org/tools/detail.php?domain=63.64.0.0/10&submitted=1037557025&table=ipwhois and has to do with [EMAIL PROTECTED] e-mail address. ignorant wants UUNET to answer this address. UUNET does answer it but only if from the registrar (maybe some other name?) and has always done it that way. UUNET says it would be very difficult to change. Actually what little I understood of the conversation it seemed to me that UUNET was pretty much correct in how they were doing it. But there is supposed to be new policies addressing the issue soon and then UUNET will be correct again. All of this is occurring at a level significantly above my pay grade. Terry Fritts
