Concur with that !
The helpful ISPs are Exodus, Verio, and theres another that eludes me
but when Im looking through yesterdays rejected emails and i see
directemailfactory.com 20 times to 10 diff users
and I look up the IP on ARIN and get uunet (example it may not be this
particular spam farm)
thats it, end of info. Same with AT&T and Sprint
They suck
I dont care if they get their palms greased, but let me have the knowledge i
need to keep the crap out of my LAN
at my perimeter. I just dont see how that is unreasonable (I guess AT&T
disagress with me from their lack of response when I wrote that nasty-gram
to every executive on the shareholder info page)
but I have to go for accountability.

rfci should consider good faith efforts by a victim of the jerk offs I've
just described.

BUT as rfci admin stated the point of rbls is to coax out the bad behavior
for the good.

I believe in the open relay rbls and have had to white list one or two
parties that we deal with that landed in there.
I expect to do so again, after I whitelist, I email the admin, and our CEO
and ask the admin to close the relay that we are lowering our security
posture so we can allow mail from him, and I would appreciatte their help in
closing the relay and getting back to me when theyre finished.

Usually works after they get over the initial embarasment/denial phase.

two more cents
