Hmm, here is what came into my mind first, just an idea. This is the default aliases file structure,
mailer-daemon: postmaster postmaster: root # Person who should get root's mail #root: someuser As you can see, once the message is handled by postmaster, the first thing it does is, to deliver the bounced mail into root's mailbox. If you haven't commented out the line starting with #root: yet, then you should do it so, asap. otherwise, bounced messages will fillup the root's mailbox and it will eventually lead the server to crash. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Behalf Of Cybertime Hostmaster Sent: Wednesday, February 26, 2003 5:28 PM To: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Subject: [IMGate] Re: Bounced messages not returning to users > You need to make sure that you do not have the "Refuse NULL <> Senders" > check box check under SMTP Security in iMAIL. I think Dave has the right one to look at, but this is certainly an IMail issue, and not a Postfix issue. I have even had users ask me "What is this demon[sic] thing I see?" when talking about the Postfix dAemon messages. --Eric
