I tried it, and had to remove it.

SA, in my opinion: Is designed around being run on the mail server where
the mail delivery occurs. It is intended to be used as a tagging tool so
that people can filter to sort and/or delete based off the SA rating.

This makes it a poor choice to run on a gateway in an ISP situation.

SA was killing all religious newsletters that went in or out from our
service. These newsletters were actually scoring higher than porn spam
due to their use of HTML tags, imbedded pictures, poorly done signatures,
etc.

Since we host something like 5 churches, and a prison ministry, we have a
lot of religious news letters going in and out. No matter what I did,
these news letters out scored the porn.

That was only the most major side effect. There were several other false
positives. I think this is largely to a combination of some spammers
getting smarter, and sending better messages, backed up by many users and
news letters being more sloppy. This causes the scoring gap to be very
narrow.

So while SA was very powerful at killing junk, the collateral damage was
far too high for us to use it here.
