We've also added cel and home phone using patient attributes and then you can define that they appear in the header of a patient's record in the fields below where you create the patient attribute.
Here's the page on the demo server http://demo.openmrs.org/openmrs/admin/person/personAttributeType.list So if you create a patient attribute, type String, name Celular Number, and then you place the text "Celular Number" in Patient Header Attributes, I believe it'll show it in the header. This will make telephone number appear on the default dashboard under "Most recent observations", and will allow you to add/edit it from there. You could also create a person_attribute for telephone number which would appear on the "Edit patient form", but as far as I know there isn't currently a way to add attributes to the dashboard.
