Hey, I am happy to announce a slightly delayed release of MDS 1.0 [0]. It is available to download in our module repository [1].
Thank you very much to everyone who contributed to this release during the OpenMRS sprint in January. The 1.0 version is a promise that packages and API will be compatible with any next version, however, it is not possible to import packages exported with any previous version. Here's a list of new features: - Sharing Concepts between OpenMRS 1.6 and 1.7/1.8 (if they pass the 1.7/1.8 validation) - Preserving IDs if required and possible - Custom import modes - Subpackages for 1000 items and more - Exporting packages on-the-fly - Improved search (searching by ids, enhanced performance) - Disabling mapping incoming Concepts to local Concepts upon import - Finding matching Concepts based on Concept mappings.
