Sounds great. I'd like to help out. The community is probably bigger
than you think and the import can help bring people together by working
on a shared task.
I read the wiki page and it looks good overall. The start date is in the
past. People will want to review a sample copy of the *.osm data to be
uploaded.
FYI: The data is public domain, so no clarification needed from the
county. This is true for all data produced by governments in the state
of Florida unless there is an exception specified in the public records
statute.
