I have more of my soul in the imports (at least my own ones) than in some manually added nodes. I have invested a lot of time working on them - manually merging/correcting, improving scripts, testing, trying to get feedback from community etc. With single nodes you can just add them (and forget), the imports are the ones which have taken many sleepless night. And tears: several of the nights have had turned out to be quite useless (no permission from data owner and/or community etc).
