That is probably the major difference here - my only concern was the quality of the resulting data in the OSM database. It is a bit like when you do a poll - if you ask 'Do you agree with opinion A or do you have a different opinion' you will get a bias towards A compared to when asking neutrally 'What is your opinion on the matter'.
