If the data is not just used to find missing stations and then map them from other information but data is actually entered from the source data into OSM (like names, addresses and coordinates) you should follow the import guidelines. This is really not a big deal for such a simple data set that is imported fully manually, essentially it means: - setting up a wiki page with basic documentation of the import, this is not much more than what you already did in your mail. - checking and documenting if the license is OK. - sending note to this ML. Has it been established previously that IODLv2 causes no problems with OSM?
