Hi, the italian region Apulia has released a regional map, built in 2006 in the scale of representation of 1:5,000, that can be freely downloaded from SIT Puglia, at: http://www.sit.puglia.it/portal/portale_cartografie_tecniche_tematiche/Download/Cartografie
Among the various available data, we chose to import only the footprints of the buildings (along with other minor elements like fountains, pools, wells, etc.), cause currently they are almost completely lacking in Apulia, except for the area of Lecce and surrounding towns, where the buildings have been imported from a map released by town of Lecce (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Lecce). The import has already been discussed in the italian talk-it: https://lists.openstreetmap.org/pipermail/talk-it/2015-October/049326.html This is the wiki page with the complete import plan: http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Puglia/CTR_Import which has also been translated into english. Do you think we can proceed with import? Thank you Federico _______________________________________________ Imports mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/imports
