Hi Frederik, and thank you very much for reviewing my work. Certainly the area I know best is Lecce, for which some of the work has already been done with the import Lecce, which contained the same data as the Apulia CTR. That work was also done on my request from a person who did not know the places, but this has given me and many others people a base (buildings designed) to deepen and detail the mapping of those areas. Today there are peoples from Taranto and Brindisi who are awaiting my work for the import, but do not have the technical knowledge required to perform an import (even the knowledge of JOSM to be able to solve all the possible conflicts between geometries). So if I will be able to complete the import at least for the provinces of Taranto and Brindisi, surely other mappers will have the opportunity to use my work. Nevertheless I think you're right when you talk about good example, then I will restrict my work on the wiki to the province of Lecce, like you suggested. > I see that you already have estimated that the import might take a year > which to me is a good sign - much better than some of the import plans > we see here that proclaim completion by the end of the month ;) My prediction may be optimistic I fear, in fact, that one year may not be enough if the work must be well done. Often the hurry to complete the import means poor quality! > > Bye > Frederik > Bye and thank you again _______________________________________________ Imports mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/imports
