Let me say that so far and without knowing yet how the results will look like in total this seems to be a quite positive example of preparation of an import project. I am particularly referring to - taking sufficient time to plan things, give people opportunity to review and give feedback. - actually take feedback into consideration and change plans based on it. - not taking too much on in a single step (here: leaving out the addresses for example). Looking at the data entered so far at a few places it seems there are quite a few obvious formal errors like geometry artefacts: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/407792910 and misclassification of industrial infrastructure as buildings: https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/408511408 It might be a good idea to refine the data preparation for future work packages with special regard to these kinds of problems (like detecting very narrow geometries and industrial buildings with non-rectangular geometry and marking them for manual inspection). -- Christoph Hormann http://www.imagico.de/ _______________________________________________ Imports mailing list [email protected] https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/imports
