Hi Everybody,

Thank you for the great discussion! I am meeting with the IIS people later
today and will see if they would be willing to change to the open gov license
v2 or give a written permission to OSM to use the data.

Thanks,

Lisa

If Calgary is able to change to the open gov license v.2
(http://open.canada.ca/en/open-government-licence-canada<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=http-3A__open.canada.ca_en_open-2Dgovernment-2Dlicence-2Dcanada&d=CwMFaQ&c=jdm1Hby_BzoqwoYzPsUCHSCnNps9LuidNkyKDuvdq3M&r=usAFgefkrfO0I2bYX_-ZVazWMQ31kQz4RoEbPVbpsIw&m=gN4GA0K8iDMIa8W82hqxKh8e_rV4Ijj8mbFlPdR1X4Y&s=pcUWne7mI9wiKXbhrPhOBf2I7M0_UrmsZGH8Yj6XNaM&e=>)
 it would be compatible with openstreetmap, but until then the chance of
getting sued and the specific clause against possible illegal activities (which
would invalidate our license agreement) prevent us from importing the data
