I'm also against it, for several reasons:

1) as a mapper you don't know how to deal with them because it is not clear to 
what they refer (a single property, a combination of properties, the land that 
has the tag, etc.), and how you should treat them when you modify something

1b) ultimately this raises complexity and might prevent cautious mappers from 
improving the data that has these tags, because they don't know how to deal 
with it

2) it is circumventing the license: this is proprietary data, why would we want 
to distribute it (you can't use this data unless you have access to the 
proprietary part, it is non-free data), it's against the spirit of osm.
