I do see that "public refrigerated warehouses" are on that list. You
listed the quality as "good" and "good for import." As detailed
earlier, that was not my finding, which leads me to believe that we
have different standards for "good", and leads me to question other
cases where you said quality was "good."
This is mainly what I was referring to when I said "when I reassess
quality for the datasets, I may make the number even smaller." When I
initially assessed this dataset, I took a quick look at a few objects
and determined that they were of sufficient quality to be considered for
import. I've removed that dataset from the candidate list.
Also, I see "PAD-US" is "in progress." Does that mean that the import
has actually started? I don't recall seeing it discussed on this list.
I set this one as in progress because I had already found another wiki
page where other mappers were already working to have the data imported:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/United_States/Public_lands/PAD-US
Also, where are these "specific instructions"? I didn't see them on
the wiki page. Perhaps I missed it.
All of the datasets I've written documentation for are on subpages in
order to keep it neat. I've worked on these two categories in particular:
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/HIFLD/Finance
https://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/HIFLD/Communications
They're linked in the main data categories list, but they can be easy to
miss.
I think this is already documented in the HIFLD data's metadata. What
I recommend is that we go back to the original source and get their
data, rather than using the HIFLD data. This will not always be
possible, but in some cases it clearly will be.
Fine by me :)
