I believe you can also use a trashem.dat file that will send them to the
Trash folder so you can decide what to do with them. I believe the parameter
is "1" for that setting. Since I use TrashFinder, I've done away with my
autopass files.

Subject: RE: bypass mail

When you add autopass to the blugin list (the filterb.plu file), you have to
give it the path to the file for your dat file. So, autopass does more than
just "pass" mail, it can also deny all mail. So, what the instructions are
saying, (I believe), is to have a "passem.dat" file for customers you want
all mail passed to and a deletem.dat file for mail you want deleted without
any other filtering.

My filterb.plu file entries for autopass are:

"d:\EMWAC\filter\autopass.exe d:\EMWAC\filter\passem.dat 2"
"d:\EMWAC\filter\autopass.exe d:\EMWAC\filter\deletem.dat 3"

The passem.dat entry allows all mail to the users in that dat file.
The deletem.dat entry deletes all mail FROM those users listed in that dat
file.

Clear as mud? :)

Hope this helps.

Subject: bypass mail

Hi all: I still cannot get bplugin, or autopass to pass mail to certain
customers. The autopass directions are not clear, they are contradictory.
This is most likely my problem.
If you read the autopass directions, it will state "The autopass.dat file
has the following configuration entries:" etc.

However than it goes on to state further under Installation directions the
following.

4. Edit PASSEM.DAT and add your bypass list.

So in which .dat file do I place the names I want passed/bypassed through
the system? Or do I need to place the names in both .dat files ?

Thank you.

Very respectfully, your obedient servant.
