Perhaps someone could put together a plugin that supports regular expressions. Or perhaps a regular expression feature could be added to TF.
As mentioned previously, I'm running SpamAssassin on a seperate server that I run all my email through before IMS ever sees it. I wrote a custom rule a couple of months ago just to reduce these 'Hi' messages. With the use of regular expressions, it was simple to create a rule that trips on 'hi' but not on 'this': /^hi$/i -Alan >Right. I think such a filter would be safer in Trash Finder (which would >only look in the Subject: line), but even there, it wouldn't be a good idea. > >For instance, "Subject: This is a test" would be trapped, because "this" >includes "hi". > > Randy. This is the discussion list for the IMS Free email server software.
