Greetings all... I have an IMS server set up as a prefilter. Its currently only running smtprcv and smtpds. All incoming email is directed to this server for the sole purpose of smtprcv to verify that the intended receipient is a valid user.
So, an incoming message is checked for valid addressing, and if valid, it is then passed on to smtpds to delivery to the next smtp server. Today, this server has been receiving a number of emails that are accepted by smtprcv and passed to smtpds for delivery to the next server, but the next smtp server will not accept the message. The only reason I can see that the next smtp server will not accept the email from smtpds is that the return path in the message's rcp file is corrupt. So, to finally get to my question. Does anyone know offhand of any plugin that would have rejected these messages and never given them placed them in the incoming directory in the first place? Here is a sample of the rcp files I'm seeing (I'm fudging the recipient address to protect the innocent): Message-ID: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Return-path: [EMAIL PROTECTED] embroil chaparral felicitous impugn methane sketchpad btl deferrable formant egghead cinnabar diction impassable airmail angular loam catskill candlestick locomotion soften treasure brainy denominate modesto process counterattack dizzy improvisate stutter albumin handicap Recipient: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Thanks!
