I employ Spamcop with one of my smaller mail servers, and it makes a
huge difference. However, I have had problems with it rejecting
legitimate mail every once in a while.

On a larger (~3000 mail accounts) mail system, I've been using the
MAPS RBL+. While more spam gets through, it has never had a false
reject. And most of the spam that gets through is from 'established
relationships' that careless users have made by submitting their info to
web sites.

So it's all a matter of balance... in the setting where we don't have
the manpower to deal with real mail being rejected, I opted for the more
permissive, safer option. But Spamcop has been great with the smaller
system that I can watch closely.
