Never restart the service.

First stop it and wait for the SMTPSRCV line to disappear from the task manager
process list.

Then start it.

You can create a script to accomplish this, using SLEEP.EXE from the Windows
Resource Kit.

===============

Since installing v .50 of SMTPRcv, every time I try to restart it, it tries for
about 1 minute, then finally gives an error message
saying basically it timed out trying to restart. It then shows as "Restarting"
in the Services list and the only thing I can do is
restart the whole machine. This used to happen rarely with version .48, but not
every time.

Could I have something set wrong somewhere?
