Set it up as you would normally. add the domain to the smtprcv accept mail for. add the user to a plugin1.dat file. There is no special setup. > I see > notes on the web page regarding 'full domain name on user check' and > 'multiple plugin1 dat files' - are these two separate issues, or one in > the same, and is there a format for the filenaming convention? The multiple plugin files is sort of separate but related. If i remember correctly, Paul's plugin1 has a limit on the number of aliases (about 1000?) so to go above that you need to run more than one instance of plugin1. smtprcv only allowed 1 which meant you had to append all your dat files into 1 for it to use. now you can use the separate ones saving the extra step. You can also keep all your domains in separate files if it makes it easier to manage. Leave it as a single file and you'll still be compatible with version 0.50 or lower. > I did > read in your previous post regarding the usage of the first domain in > the 'accept mail for' list if the nt user database is used (I am > assuming you mean the one in the smtprcv control panel and not the emwac > control panel applet. yes it's the smtprcv one. klint. +---------------------------------------+-----------------+ : Klint Gore : "Non rhyming : : EMail : [EMAIL PROTECTED] : slang - the : : Snail : A.B.R.I. : possibilities : : Mail University of New England : are useless" : : Armidale NSW 2351 Australia : L.J.J. : : Fax : +61 2 6772 5376 : : +---------------------------------------+-----------------+ This is the discussion list for the IMS Free email server software.
