"user not valid" happens after the spamtrap testing.  either the
spamtrap flag isnt set or it failed the test on the name.  that helps a
lot as it narrows down where I have to look to about a dozen lines of
code.

every recipient has a rcpt to.  it's up to the sending email client to
deal with cc and bcc when building the DATA command for the server.
