HI all: I apologize for this being off topic, but... I know there are so
many knowledgable people on this list.
I have been forced to move some of my clients to E3Servers. I only have a
very little time to do this in. I cannot get email to work with this E3
company.(www.e3servers.com)
I am trying to log in to
user: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
pass: jakebake
smtp: mail.civilwarhandgun.com
pop: mail.civilwarhandgun.com

I cannot log in using Eudora, PHM mail or Pegasus mail. I can connect using
Phoenix mail however.

Pegasus gives me the following error message.
[*] Connection established to 67.18.87.54
>> 0062 +OK POP3 server ready <b8eb05c9-927c-495c-a483-9be1789ca3ea>
<< 0011 USER jake
>> 0020 +OK User:'jake' ok
<< 0015 PASS XXXXXXXX
>> 0040 -ERR UserName or Password is incorrect

my mail server is on 67.18.87.54 so it shows I am getting that far.
In addition I cannot use the civilwarhandgun mail server for SMTP.
THe only way I can send mail out is if I use my own SMTP server(ims) of
mail.mntnweb.com

When I telnet to mail.civilwarhandgun.com 25 the telnet session locks up.
If I telnet to mail.civilwarhandgun.com 26 than I get a good session window.

Doesnt this say that the E3 mail smtp must be on port 26 ? I have asked them
this numerous times and they do not even respond :(

I am sorry for asking for help. but I have been going around the horn with
E3 for a solid week now and over 30 trouble tickets and I am no further along.
Is there a way I can prove to them that something may be wrong on their end?

Thankyou to everyone.

Very respectfully, your obedient servant.
