Hi Gary,

I get an immediate crash whenever I start the SMTPRCV service.

Looks like the crash point is advapi32.dll!77f65e91() per the debugger which
comes up.

What directory do you have SMTPRCV installed to? If it is not in the
\windows\system32 directory, are there some older versions of system DLLs
placed in the same directory as the SMTPRCV.EXE executable that you do have
it installed to?

Thanks,

-- Eric

I've been using SMTPRCV 0.50 on W2K3 for years without any problem. Trouble
is that it has been so long since I installed it, I don't remember what
special tweaks I had to make to get it to work. I'll have to dig in my
notes to find it.

Regards,

Gary Steiner
