In the (hopefully unlikely) case that you can't get the changes you need
compiled into SMTPRCV, you could consider using Trashfinder Gateway as a
front-end to IMS. It works as a mail receiver/filter in front of IMS (or any
other mail server for that matter), and supports most of the features of
SMTPRCV, along with blocking on HELO patterns and SPF, the complete set of
Trash Finder filters, various exception (white) lists, and the optional
ability to filter outbound mail. The major limitation is that it has to run
on a separate machine or behind a router that can remap ports, mainly
because there is no way to get either SMPTRS or SMPTRCV to listen on a port
other than 25. (SMTPRCV claims to allow that, but it doesn't work.) And it
has to get mail first so it can properly block mail (96% on my system).

I've never packaged it up for use outside of our use here, mainly because I
haven't had any interest in that. But that wouldn't be too hard.
