None seems to have responded to my query.. pls reply!!
I had tried th trial version of iworks 09 and now the period is
over. I
assumed that it will revert back to the previous version of iworks
but it
has not happened. Will i have to buy the new version? Im not able to
save /
export any file like keynotes/pages etc.

Try booting you mac with the original install disc that came with
it. Press
the key "C" to boot from the disc and open disk utility from the
utilities
in the Menu bar and see if your hard drive is Alive. If not you
might need
to replace the HDD.

hi,
may be ur HDD problem,
u can boot the OS disk from optical drive and press c button then try,
check HDD detccts or not,or else give any nearest apple authorised
service
provider,
