No limitations my friend. I have 3000 contacts my self. Are you well organised? 
I mean you have contacts name, middle name, all phones, email, address with 
state city and zip, added the chat they're on with named fields msn, google 
talk, yahoo, url? If yes then you could have little problem mainly with 
addresses. The sync tends to make a change the zip of addresses at times. I've 
not got a clue as yet why? The urls don't sync for now.
I use address book to sync with iphone and bb which I'm using on trial purpose. 
My android syncs with google only. I'm not syncing it to address book at all. 
I've actually done export import and then synced. All my groups are well set on 
google now.

And they sync with Mac OS X’s Address book?

Can it sync all 2000+ contacts in my address book or does it have limitations?
